About the CSL Behring Foundation

The CSL Behring Foundation for Research and Advancement of Patient Health is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated exclusively to charitable, scientific and educational purposes designed to advance the needs and interests of the bleeding disorders community. A nine member Advisory Council that functions independently of CSL Behring governs the CSL Behring Foundation.

Since its creation in 2001, the CSL Behring Foundation has awarded approximately $6 million to reach out to underserved populations, to increase awareness of bleeding disorders, to create educational materials, to provide support and networking opportunities for patients and their families, and to initiate or support scientific research. Individual awards have been granted in the amounts of approximately $10,000 to approximately $200,000.
