Applications will be accepted from U.S.-based hemophilia treatment centers, non-profit organizations such as hemophilia foundations, chapters, and associations, and healthcare professionals dedicated to the treatment of people with bleeding disorders.
All applications will be reviewed by the CSL Behring Foundation Advisory Council at their bi-annual meeting. The Advisory Council has the sole responsibility and authority to award grants in three primary categories.
They are as follows:
-
Research Grants - grants for scientific, educational, social, and/or epidemiological projects.
-
Patient Grants - grants to hemophilia foundations, chapters, associations and/or other not-for-profit organizations for innovative programs that address the needs of the bleeding disorders community.
-
Unrestricted Grants - grants to assist small, community-based organizations in delivering their many valuable services to the communities they serve.
Prior to compiling your grant application, please be sure to review the
Grant Writing Guidelines
for guidance and suggestions on writing a compelling grant proposal. Then select the appropriate
grant application and develop your proposal.
Submit your completed grant application and all supporting materials to the CSL Behring Foundation prior to the deadline. Applications for the current Research and Patient Grant cycle are to be received at the CSL Behring Foundation no later than January 31, 2009. Applications for Unrestricted Patient Grants are to be received by July 31, 2009. Completed grant applications and all supporting materials should be submitted electronically to CB.Foundation@cslbehring.com. Decisions regarding grant awards will be announced in April 2009.
