Pharmacovigilance and Traceability
CSL products are continuously monitored for safety and efficacy through our extensive quality and safety systems. These systems ensure product safety and effectiveness and provide an additional level of oversight by tracking and monitoring any potential adverse events of manufactured products. These processes are called pharmacovigilance (post-marketing monitoring) and traceability.

Pharmacovigilance is an important tool to monitor the safety of a product and detect hitherto unknown adverse reactions. Traceability ensures that we can readily trace our manufactured products to the patient. Any potential adverse events would be investigated, evaluated and reported to appropriate regulatory bodies. Corrective action would be taken, if necessary, but such action is rarely needed.
